In 2011 the Roblox company sponsored an event at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh to raise money for charity Charity Water. This was called Roblox Builders Club: Project Builder which raised over 3,000 for charity water.

ROBLOX's first virtual item was the "Builders Club," which was launched in 2006 and was free to all users. It grants users certain privileges that allow them to create and publish places easily on ROBLOX. The Builders Club is currently 9.99 a month; however, it used to be 6.25 a month until 2014, when it was increased to its current price. The Builder's club has since been discontinued for Xbox One and PS4 users as of December 2018 due to converting the Builder's Club into a Builders Pass which costs 9.99 a month instead of 6.25 a month.

I think the game is fantastic and it helps me to learn better. It's not just for kids because sometimes adults play it too. I love it so much and think other kids should play it.

I don't think that I will ever return to Roblox, but I can't say I won't miss it. It's the type of game that I can play and enjoy when I feel like doing so. But as much as I want to keep playing, there have been a lot of games that have come out in the past years which are a lot more interesting than Roblox, such as Minecraft and even Runescape

The community is somewhat mature. As far as social media goes, I do not personally think that roblox holds much of a candle in terms of maturity when compared to the likes of Twitter or Facebook but it certainly does not have the childish undertone that you would find on other sites such as Instagram or snapchat either. It has a decent kidfriendly community that is mostly neutral.
